The following note was received from the Town of North Kingstown:
Please see the attached “Sewer Fact Sheet” that provides a summary of the 2014 North Kingstown Sewer project. Please forward to your membership and encourage them to vote on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the special election. The two polling questions are listed on the sewer fact sheet for review. Although the proposed sewer area only impacts Post Road (north) and commercial properties in Wickford Village, support for the two questions is sought from all North Kingstown neighborhoods and registered voters. Please note that the cost of the sewer project construction will be fully paid over 20 years by owners of properties serviced by the sewer system through assessments. No other property owners, businesses or residents will be taxed for these costs.
