Stakeholder Meeting Update

Fellow Home Owners,

The route 2/102 meeting schedule is listed below.  I want to direct your attention to the two public workshops – Thursday October 4 and Monday October 15-  and ask that you please consider attending one of them.  This will be your opportunity to weigh in on this process directly.  As I have said in the past, if you want someone from across town or the developers to have the final say in what this area will look like stay home and accept whatever happens.  If on the other hand you want to influence the outcome here is your chance.  Mark your calendars, plan on attending and let your voice be heard.

The developer has finally submitted a master plan for Rolling Greens and it can be found at this link: http://www.northkingstown.org/upcoming-projects  There will be an upcoming opportunity for the public to comment on this as well so stay tuned to the town website and these e-mails for updates as to where and when.  Finally, spread the word to your friends and neighbors not on this e-mail list and encourage them to send me an e-mail so I can add them to our list.  I would like to have all 84 households represented on this list.  If you have questions don’t hesitate to contact me.  Regards.

• Wednesday September 26, 6pm-9pm: SHG Meeting 3 (Stakeholder Group members & alternates expected to attend.)
  
• Monday October 1: Town Council Meeting focusing on traffic and the rotary/roundabout idea
• **Thursday October 4, 7-10pm: Public Workshop 1 (Stakeholder Group members should attend if they are able in listening mode.)
• **Monday October 15, 7-10pm: Public Workshop 2 (Stakeholder Group members should attend if they are able in listening mode.)
• Tuesday October 16: Planning Commission Meeting on Rolling Greens Application
• Thursday October 25, 6-9pm: SHG Meeting 4 (Stakeholder Group members & alternates expected to attend.)
• Tuesday October 30: Planning Commission Meeting on Rolling Greens Application
• Wednesday November 7, 6-9pm: SHG Meeting 5 (Stakeholder Group members & alternates expected to attend.)
• Thursday November 15, 6-9pm: SHG Meeting 6 Placeholder (Stakeholder Group members & alternates expected to attend. This meeting may not be necessary, or it may be a joint meeting with the Town Council.  More on this later, but for now please save the date.)
